I aim to understand how signals from the external world, such as light, sounds and smells, instruct an animal’s behaviour. I use genetic manipulations, histology, molecular biology, optical imaging, behavioural assays and computational analysis to address questions of sensory processing in fruit flies, malaria mosquitoes, ants and bees. More information about my research is available here and here.
