Tier 1

And just as I got back from Japan, I received an email informing me that the Royal Society has endorsed my application for the Tier 1 visa. This visa will allow me to stay in the UK for 5 years regardless of whether I have a job or not, and what employer I work for. Finally, after 11 years of living abroad, I’m not a slave of my employer any more – feels good 🙂 Now the task is not to relax too much… time flies.
